He came back from assured defeat to beat one of the mightiest political machines ever constructed, behind the candidate that a year ago everyone assumed was unstoppable, and he's done it in style.
Now all that's left is to come back from a 5-point... err... lead... to beat really a rather weak campaign lead by a guy that everyone wrote off a year ago but who managed to stumble into his party's nomination because all his competitors were, frankly, lunatics.
I still wish Mitt Romney had won the Republican nomination just because it would be so funny and satisfying to see a scumbag like him ripped to shreds in November. As it is, the soon-to-be landslide loser is someone I actually respect and wouldn't mind having as president (relative to Bush, at least). Nevertheless, I have a hard time imagining this being anything other than a landslide come November.
